My name is Brooklyn Beus. I am 21 years old and I am currently a student at BYU-I, furthering my education in floral design.
I was raised on my family's calf ranch in Kuna, Idaho. I spent my childhood outdoors; wandering through the sagebrush, riding four-wheelers, constructing forts for my siblings and cousins, and creating whatever my imagination inspired me to, using nature as my medium. I made baskets from pinecones, twisted morning glories into crowns, wove cornucopias from goat head vines. I was always at my happiest turning already beautiful creations into pieces of my own design.
My personal style has bloomed from inspiration from my outdoor surroundings. The rustic, romantic charm of flowers that look as though they had just been freshly picked and bundled is my specialty. I am drawn to full, lush designs, not lacking in a variety of flowers.
I launched my floral design business in March 2022, and it has been the greatest blessing to have discovered what I love, and to study, take courses, and progress in this art.
